Obituary for Walter England Banjo" Berryhill

Walter England "Banjo" Berryhill, 89, of Ardmore, Highway, Taft, Tennessee, died Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama. Funeral Services were held at 2:30 P.M. on Monday, February 9, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. James Holt officiating. Burial was in Blanche Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were J.C. Pogue, Billy Dean Mitchell, John Churchwell, Chris Reed, Jimmy Ray Nichols, and Great Grandsons.Mr. Berryhill was born on September 29, 1914, in Moore's Mill, Alabama, currently Chase Nursery, to William Francis Berryhill and Minnie Mae Jones Berryhill. He was a long time resident of Taft, Tennessee, and worked as a farmer, electrician, and a plumbing contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 60 years, Maggie Lee Billions Berryhill. Survivors include: his son, Charles E. Berryhill of Warrior, Alabama; a grandson, Wayne Berryhill of Taft, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Linda Creque of Taft, Tennessee; and four great-grandchildren, Michael McKinney of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Jennifer Nichols of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, William Daniel Berryhill of Taft, Tennessee, and Adam Benjamin Berryhill of Taft, Tennessee.
