Virginia Frances Thompson,82, of Madison formerly of Ardmore, Alabama died Thursday at a nursing home in Huntsville, Alabama.Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 4, 2004, in the Chapel of Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Stonecypher and Rev. Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial was in Huntsville Memory Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.Virginia Frances Conway Thompson was born September 11, 1921, in Frankfort, Kentucky to Allen Conway and Nellie Sabin Conway. She lived most of her life in the Pinedale community near Ardmore. She was a retired Ardmore High School Secretary and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Thompson.Survivors include three sons, Larry Bingham of Meriadianville, Alabama, Joey Thompson of Elkmont, Alabama, and Sabin Thompson, of Kingston Springs, Tennessee; one brother, Allen Conway of Versailles, Kentucky, and a sister Patsy Richardson also of Versailles, KentuckY; eight Grandchildren; and 4 Great Grandchildren.
