Obituary for Vera Lee Nolte

Vera Lee Nolte, 65, of Moore Hollow Road, Prospect, Tennessee, died Tuesday, October 28, 2003, at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 1, 2003, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Burial was in Dunnavant Cemetery in Elkton, Tennessee, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were nephews.Mrs. Nolte was born on May 18, 1938, in Elkton, Tennessee, to Charles Franklin Greenway and Eula Rogers Greenway. She was a homemaker and lived all her life in the Elkton Community. She was of the Baptist faith and served her country in the Women's Army Corp for several years. She was an active church and community humanitarian. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Nolte, Sr. Survivors include two sons, William H. and wife Malene Nolte of North Carolina, and Mark A. Nolte of Columbia, Tennessee; one brother, Charles Wendell Greenway of Athens, Alabama; one sister, June Derryberry of Petersburg, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Rachel Lee Nolte and William Bishop Nolte; and many nieces and nephews.
