Shields Thomas "Peck" Faulkner, 68, of Pleasant Hill Road, Prospect, Tennessee, died Thursday, May 6, 2004, at his residence. Funeral Services were held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Al Rudolph officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.Mr. Faulkner was born in Ardmore, Alabama, on July 27, 1935, to Robert Faulkner and Eddie Mae Thornton Faulkner. He lived most of his life in Louisville, Kentucky, working as a forklift operator for Kroger Grocery Warehouse, before retiring to his farm in Prospect, Tennessee. Survivors include his wife, Helen Faulkner of Prospect, Tennessee; two daughters, Sharon Kay Faulkner of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and Tammy Lynn (Mark) Johnson of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; four brothers, Howard L. Faulkner of Ardmore, Alabama, Wayne Faulkner of Prospect, Tennessee, Calvin Faulkner of Toney, Alabama, and Johnny Faulkner of Lewisburg, Tennessee; two sisters, Geraldine Rye of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and Robbie Rose of Kirkland, Tennessee; three grandchildren, William Tommy Faulkner, Mark Anthony (Tony) Johnson, and Kimberly Nicole Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Katie Faulkner, Benjamin Faulkner, and Elescia Jones.
