Obituary for Roger Dale Nolf

Roger Dale Nolf, 55, of Hazel Green, Alabama, died Saturday, November 22, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Marable officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore, Alabama, with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Darrell O'Keefe, Ronnie Morrow, Steve Morrow, Steve Travis, Joel League, Stevie Morrow, and Pete Bailey. Mr. Nolf was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on December 30, 1947, to Augusta Clayton Nolf, Sr. and Vennie Mitchell Nolf. He attended Ardmore Christian Fellowship Church. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of animals and gardening. He loved to spend time with his Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Rhonda Travis, and a special brother-in-law, Danny League. Mr. Nolf was a truck driver and a US Marine Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Sandra League Nolf of Hazel Green, Alabama; six sons, Roger Allen Nolf of Boaz, Alabama, Rodney Nolf, Brian Nolf, and Bobby Nolf, all of Jasper, Alabama, Stevie Morrow of Toney, Alabama, and Ronnie Morrow of Hazel Green, Alabama; one daughter, Sharon O'Keefe of Ardmore, Alabama; two brothers, Clifton Nolf, Jr, of Boaz, Alabama, and Jimmy Harbin of Lynnville, Tennessee; four sisters, Debbie Nash of Ardmore, Alabama, Joyce Carter and Melissa Bailey, both of Toney, Alabama, and Margie Johnson; and eight Grandchildren.
