Obituary for Richard C. Trulson

Richard C. Trulson, 59, of Airport Lane, Ardmore, AL, died Friday, June 10, 2005, at Athens-Limestone Hospital, Athens, AL.Funeral Services were held Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at 11 a.m. at McBurg First Baptist church in McBurg, TN, with Rev. James Ed Burrow officiating. Burial was in the Hasting Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.Richard Clyde Trulson was born March 14, 1946, in Mason City, IA, to Clarence Theodore Trulson and Emma Alvina Eenhuis Trulson. His family moved to Fayetteville, TN, when he was six weeks old and he lived there until 1978 when he came to Ardmore to operate Ardmore Aviation. He was a member of the NRA, and held a firearms license; and a member of Family Motorcoach Association, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in McBurg, TN, where he served as a deacon and executive board member. He served on the Missions Committee of the William Carey Baptist Association.Survivors include his wife, Loretta B. Trulson of Ardmore, AL; one son, Richard Lynn Trulson of Ardmore, AL; two brothers, LeRoy Allen Trulson of Hazel Green, AL, and LaVerne Lee Trulson of Clarion, IA; and one sister, Lillian Louise Grethen of Guntersville, AL.
