Marvin Glenn "Wiener" Dunn

Marvin Glenn “Wiener” Dunn, 58 died January 29, 2022, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Wiener was born in Limestone County, Alabama to David and Gladys Coats Dunn and lived in the Ardmore area most all his life. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church and loved fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Isaac Batrum; father, David Dunn; sisters, DeeDee Scott and Patsy Davis. He is survived by his wife, Connie Batrum Dunn; daughter, April Thompson; son, Michal Batrum, granddaughter, Jazzalyn Davis, all of Athens, AL; mother, Gladys Dunn; brothers, David “Gunner” and James “Jimmy” Dunn; sister, Sherry Dugger, all of Elkmont, AL, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, February 4, 2022, from 12 Noon to 2 PM, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be Friday, February 4, 2022, at 2 PM, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Poff officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Jason Harbin, Skyler Morris, Dakota Rolin, Larry Dugger, Dillon Scott and Payton Lovell. Honorary Pallbearers will be David “Gunner” Dunn, James “Jimmy” Dunn, Jeff Rolin, and Frankie Pepper.
