Leonard Brock Smith, 92, of Blanche Road, Blanche, Tennessee, died Saturday, August 23, 2003, at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.Funeral Services were held at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Marshall and Rev. Billy Fowler officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Taulbe Barnett, Kevin Brown, Rayburn Bayless, Lucian McCormick, Adam Atchley, and Bill Adams.Mr. Smith was born on January 22, 1911, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to Maden and Coy Smith. He was a farmer and cared for both Malone and Gatlin Cemeteries. He was preceded in death by two sons, Bobby Ray Smith and William Thomas Smith.Survivors include his wife, Corine Smith of Blanche, Tennessee; a daughter-in-law, Joan Smith of Blanche, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Timmy Smith, Tracey McDonald, and Tonya Barnett; and three great-grandchildren.
