Mickey Buford officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.A native of Ardmore, TN, Mr. Montgomery was born October 27, 1941. He was a retired air traffic controller and was a Navy Veteran.Survivors include his wife, Mary Montgomery of Maryville, TN; one son, Phillip Wayne Montgomery of Maryville, TN; one daughter, Michelle Carr of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Charles Montgomery of Louisville, KY, Dale Montgomery of Shepardsville, KY; six sisters, Irene Melvin and Hazel Street of Ardmore, TN, Rita Cheek, Joyce Montgomery, and Helen Rigdon of Louisville, KY, and Lily Watson of Shepardsville, KY; and six grandchildren.
