Obituary for Kenneth Dale "Sam" Perry

Kenneth Dale "Sam" Perry, age 79 , of Ardmore, Tennessee passed away at his home on March 19, 2021. He was born on June 25, 1941 to Charles Calvin Perry and Mary Marwilla Davis Perry.

Sam moved to Ardmore in 1963. He was a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Ardmore, TN. He loved Walking horses, Beagle dogs, rabbit hunting and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Perry, Harold Perry, and George Perry; and sister, Martha Perry.

Sam is survived by his wife of 58 years, Violet Troup Perry of Ardmore, Tennessee; son, Jonathan (Cayce) Perry of Ardmore, Tennessee; daughter, Crystal (Chris) Hooten of Texarkana, Arkansas; brothers, Clyde (Paula) Perry, Glen (Carrol) Perry, Delton (Mary Lou) Perry; sister, Corinne Perry all of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama on March 26, 2021, visitation from 11:00AM - 1:00PM. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00PM with Bro. Chris Hooten and Bro. Rex Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama.

Pallbearers are Ben Hooten, Will Nash, Charles Kendzierski, Daniel Hooten, Taylor Keith, and Stan Thomas.

Due to The Statewide Mandate, Mask will be required and must be worn all times when entering the building and while in the facility. Also, must practice 6 ft social distancing.
