Obituary for Jimmie Lane Hogan

Jimmie Lane Hogan, 78 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Thursday, December 1, 1938 in Ardmore, Alabama, he was the son of the late William Maple Hogan and the late Alene King Hogan. He was a life member and deacon of Macedonia Baptist Church. He was a member of the Ardmore Class of 1957 and enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was a 21 year Veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Cora Ann Hogan, a sister: Judy Stafford, and a brother-in-law: Ed Campbell.
Surviving are daughters, Teresa (Kelvin) Gates of Ardmore, TN and Pamela (David) George of Delrose, TN, sister: Doris Campbell of Pulaski, TN, brothers, Billy (Betty) Hogan of Ashland City, TN, Kenneth (Ruth) Hogan of Ardmore, AL sister: Patsy (Hugh Roberts) Griffin of Prospect, TN, and brother: Tony (Wanda) Hogan of Athens, AL, and brother-in-law: Larry Stafford of Taft, TN, eight granddaughters, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro.Milburn Gross officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
