Obituary for Ida Mae Fee Fee" Hargrave

Ida Mae "Fee Fee" Hargrave, 84, of Dothan Road, Abbeville, Alabama, formerly of Ardmore, died Monday, March 29, 2004, at her residence in Abbeville, Alabama. Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. David Fanning officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.Mrs. Hargrave was born on March 8, 1920, in Limestone County, Alabama, to Frank and Ida Walker Lewter. She grew up on a farm and worked 36 years for Mullins Drive-In Restaurant in Huntsville. She enjoyed her family, visiting with friends, and going to the Farmer's Market. She loved her weekly hair style and manicure. She loved country music trivia and rode a four-wheel ATV with her son at 82. She was a member of Unity Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Hargrave, and two sons, Ricky Lynn and Terrell Wade Hargrave. Survivors include: one son, Ray Hargrave of Ardmore, Alabama; one daughter, Doris Brown of Abbeville, Alabama; three half-brothers, Tommy, Jerry, and Kenneth Lewter, all of Athens, Alabama; one sister, Evelyn Burns of Ardmore, Tennessee; and seven grandchildren, Floyd Jay Hall, Jeffrey Dalton Hall, Shelia Dean, Sherry Dutton, Todd Hargrave, Kevin Hargrave, and Cherie Parker.
