Obituary for Grady Lewis Honea

Grady Lewis Honea, 85, of Ardmore Highway, Taft, Tennessee, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Lincoln Medical Center ER in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Funeral Services were held at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Brown officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Walter Honea, Richard Payne, Mike Nash, Mike Porter, Billy Tanner, and Bob Graham.Mr. Honea was born on February 14, 1919, in Taft, Tennesee to Robert Richard Honea and Eliza Maddox Honea. He was a member of Taft Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy H. Honea. Mr. Honea was an Army Veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Etoile Durham Honea of Taft, Tennessee; one daughter, Linda Waltman of Petersburg, Florida; one brother, Melvin Honea of Taft, Tennessee; four sisters, Coy West of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Annie Pearl Payne of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Irene Hopkins of Pulaski, Tennessee, and Winnie Sims of Tullahoma, Tennessee; two grandsons, Brian and Michael Waltman, both of Petersburg, Florida; and two great-grandchildren.
