Mrs. Galier Louise Bailes, 69, of Ardmore, TN, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Huntsville Hospital.Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Sammy Brister officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.A lifelong resident of Ardmore, Mrs. Bailes was born September 9, 1931 in Limestone County. She was a member of the Ardmore First Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons, Michael Bailes of Athens, AL, Randy Bailes of Decatur, AL; one daughter, Sandy Clark of Toney, AL; two brothers, Kenneth Culps of Ardmore, AL, Eugene Culps of Michigan; four grandchildren, Jennifer Bailes and Amanda Moore of Texas, Brandon and Ryan Bailes of Athens, AL; one great-grandchild, Sidney Moore of Texas. Pallbeareers were Jimmy Steele, David Steele, Steve Bailey, James Shannon, Billy Smith, and Gayland Hargrave.
