Obituary for Edward O'Neal Hodges

Edward O'Neal Hodges, 75, of Highland Drive, Ardmore, TN, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Lawrence Medical Center, Moulton, AL. Funeral Services were held Thursday, March 31, 2005, at 12 noon at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Douglas Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in the Hasting Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Adam Mullins, Tony Mullins, Nicholas Mullins, Kiel Adams, Randy Graviet, Jason Ferguson, Ray Hodges, and Roger Hodges. Edward O'Neal Hodges was born March 11, 1930, in Elkmont, AL, to Lewis Hodges and Minnie Magnusson Hodges. He was a retiree from Ford Motors in Michigan. He was a member of the Ardmore Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Arlene Smith Hodges; and two brothers, William "Bill" Hodges and Dallas "Nuke" Hodges. Survivors include his wife, Laura Janice Hodges of Ardmore, TN; six sons, Dennis Edward Hodges of Elkmont, AL, Ted Mullins, Jack Mullins, Randy Mullins, Danny Mullins, all of Ardmore, and Mike Mullins of Thompson Station, TN; two daughters, Belinda Mullins Adams and Kathy Mullins Simmons both of Ardmore; three sisters, Mamie Bryan and Marjorie Harwell of Pulaski, and Fannie Chapman of Athens, AL; 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
