Funeral Services were held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2002, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Bowden officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Johnathan McClendon, Stanley McClendon, Tim Coffman, Marty McClendon, Josh Malone, Jerry Bowden, Ron Austin, Floyd Johnson, Walter Brown, and Terry Wales.Mr. Christian was born in Huntsville, Alabama on August 29, 1974, to Melvin D. and Carol Christian. He was a Baptist and had worked as an auto mechanic.Survivors include his wife, Ruthie Christian of Fayetteville, Tennessee; one daughter, Brittney Kay Christian of Athens, Alabama; his parents Melvin and Carol Christian of Athens, Alabama; a grandmother, Pauline Martin of Athens, Alabama; one brother, Jeremiah Christian of Athens, Alabama; one sister, Keva Brown of Athens, Alabama; and a host of other relatives and friends.
