Christina Dawn “Christi” Shannon Brooks, 55, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away at her home Friday, June 3, 2022. She was born in Fayetteville, TN on Sunday, September 18, 1966 to Eddie Arnold Shannon and Wilba Faye Hicklen Shannon. “Christi” has lived here all her life and was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church. She loved her family, grandkids, camping and her dogs. She was an avid Alabama Football fan. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Berry and Edna Shannon and maternal grandparents, Cleo and Ola Hicklen. She is survived by her husband, Michael Shane Brooks, Ardmore, AL; parents, Eddie and Faye Shannon, Ardmore, AL; father and mother-in-law, Ted and Angie Brooks, Ardmore, AL; daughters, Chelsea (Casun) Lovell, Ardmore, AL and Carmin (Josh) Tribble, Ardmore, AL; Brother, Mike (Stephanie) Shannon, Athens, AL; Brother-in-Law, Matt (Susan) Brooks, Mobile, AL; nieces, Sydney Shannon, Huntsville, AL and Hannah Brooks, MI; nephews, Ben Brooks, MI and Walker (Bailey) Gordon, Rogersville, AL; great nephew, Grady Gordon, Rogersville, AL; grandchildren, Liam Lovell, Cleo Lovell, Sutton Lovell, Willow Tribble, and Memphis Tribble. Visitation will be Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6 PM – 9 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Alan Hughes and Bro. Doug Colwell officiating. Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, Alabama. Pallbearers will be Tony Sanders, Ricky Shannon, Gerry Shannon, Mark McGuire, Marty McGuire, Shawn Hicklen, Patrick Hicklen , and Matt Brooks.
