Catherine Bostic Churchwell

Catherine Bostic Churchwell, 94, of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Monday, April 11, 2022, at her home. She was the daughter of Everette Clark Bostick and Lena Mae Dees Bostick. She was a member of the University Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL, and later attended Cash Point Baptist Church. She was the Operating Room supervisor for over a decade at Huntsville Hospital, former member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) and a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Nursing in Memphis, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Churchwell, parents, brothers Winner (Myrtle) Bostick, Clark Bostick; sisters Mavis (Henry)Justice, Bernice (Edward) Peoples; twin sister Irene (Vern) Garriga, Imogene (Billy Joe) Presley and Dorothy (Larry) Stroman. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Tommy) Long; grandchild Kyle Long and great grandchildren Christian and Kayla Long; sister-in-law Alice Bostick and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. The funeral service will be held, Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Ardmore Chapel funeral home with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will follow at Blanche Cemetery, Blanche, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
