Obituary for Anniece Rodgers Hardin

Anniece Rodgers Hardin, 86, of Blanche Road, Blanche, Tennessee, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at the home of her daughter. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 2, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Burial was in New Grove Cemetery in Blanche, Tennessee with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Kevin Brown, Ward Daniel, Dell Heard, Steve Stewart, Monty Hall, and Ricky Mullins.Mrs. Hardin was born at Kelleys' Creek, Tennessee, on January 18, 1917, to Lee Rodgers and Maggie Smith Rodgers. She lived in the Blanche, Tennessee area her whole life, working in food service with the Lincoln County School System. She was a member of Cash Point Baptist Church, where she served as Sunday School and Bible School Teacher. She was an excellent Mother, Friend and volunteer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Melvin Hardin, and a brother, A.L. Rodgers. Survivors include one son, Craig Hardin of Blanche, Tennessee, one daughter, Carolyn H. and her husband Marvin Biggerstaff of Blanche, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Sara Rodgers of Kelly's Creek, Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Amy Biggerstaff-Smith and her husband Mickey, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee.
