Obituary for Annie Pearl Reyer

Annie Pearl Reyer, 83, of Highland Drive, Ardmore, Tennessee, die dWednesday, October 27, 2004, at her residence. Funeral Services were held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Brister and Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Burial was in Gatlin Cemetery with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge.Mrs. Reyer was born in Kirkland, Tennessee, on March 26, 1921, to Henry Mitchell and Nina Bryant Mitchell. She was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church and the Ardmore Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Reyer, her parents, a sister, Rosie Mitchell, seven brothers, Jessie, Lee, John, Bunyan, Horace, Ford, and Dewitt Mitchell, and one grandson, Derrick Shelton. Mrs. Reyer loved going to the senior center and being with her firends and neighbors, however her activities were somewhat curtailed after she suffered a broken hip in March of 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Martha (Jimmy) Shelton of Ardmore, Alabama, and Reba (Dave) Hubbard of Ardmore, Alabama; one sister, Evelyn Blaziana of Atlanta, Georgia; a twin sister, Muriel Brown of Waterloo, Iowa; two grandchildren, Dexter Shelton and Tammy Riddle, both of Ardmore, Alabama; and five great-grandchildren, Katie, Carly, and Sam Shelton, and Bret and Ben Riddle, all of Ardmore, Alabama.
